Analysis of Physico-Chemical and Organoleptic Fruit Parameters Relevant for Tomato Quality

Increased interest in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) production requires breeding to create new cultivars with highly marketable values (e.g., regarding quality, nutrition, and health) valuable sensorial parameters. The purpose of this research was compare four commercial hybrids—two newly created two used as controls the process, cultivated a high plastic tunnel, wide range physico-chemical properties well nutritional organoleptic components fruits, which are relevant for quality tomatoes. AS 400 hybrid registered best results carotenoids (16.64 mg 100 g?1 FW) dry matter (6.88%). highest total ascorbic acid value (28.03 recorded other hybrid, 300, while acidity were on Precos, control (184.87 NaOH FW). correlations between analyzed characteristics multivariate analysis provided insight into tomatoes meet current fruit requirements. Based results, hypotheses have been formulated creation anticipatory, prospective character, order ensure future needs market consumers.
